The CBR® Certified Buyer Representative designation indicates that a REALTOR® has been professionally trained in the representation of home purchasers and has proven their professionalism by obtaining this certificate. Buyer representation is an emerging national trend in real estate. A Buyer Representative is a cooperating agent who legally represents the real estate buyer. They generally do so under a buyer representation agreement, much like the traditional real estate broker represents the seller under a listing agreement. The buyer agent's role is to be the advocate for the purchaser in a real estate transaction.
